Our podcast encourages women live lives wholly dedicated to Christ in a culture dedicated to self.

About Meagan

Meagan is a former wedding photographer turned homeschooling mom, house renovator, writer, and podcaster. She lives in Duluth, Minnesota with her husband of eight years, her two daughters, and is pregnant with her third.

This podcast was inspired by unbiblical popular cultural narratives in the self help ideology that tell women to use their own efforts and willpower to find happiness. This podcast is dedicated to digging into popular culture and pointing women towards the gospel and away from self-reliance.

Meagan never imagined herself having a podcast, but absolutely loves talking to people she otherwise wouldn't be able to–AND the bonus of free books.

commitment to sanctification & the Church

Christ is our ultimate authority

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life and died on the cross in our place. We believe he is the exclusive way to salvation and to reconciliation with God.

We believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are three parts of the same God, and that each is perfectly holy and entirely God.

We believe that humanity is fundamentally sinful, and though it often desires good is incapable of it. We believe that our sin separates us from God and that Jesus Christ is the only one who brings redemption and reconciliation from that sin

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to our salvation. We believe that he desires all to be saved and loves every person, but ultimately gives each person a choice to choose Him. We believe in an eternal Heaven and an eternal Hell.

We believe that we should be committed to becoming more like Christ throughout our lives–or pursuing sanctification–even throughout our imperfections. We believe that we should be committed to a local church community and edifies each other towards Christ and actively pursues reconciliation and forgiveness with each other and with the world.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the ultimate authority in our lives, and that human knowledge is helpful and important but that God's wisdom is the final authority.

Authority of the Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and is inerrant. We believe that scripture is our authority, as it is God's direct word and wisdom.

We believe that marriage is a God-created covenant between one man and one woman. We believe that God loves each and every person, but wants us to submit our sexuality to his design like all other parts of our lives. We believe that wives should submit to their husbands, who give their lives up for their wives.
